Nettapus coromandelianus Hasties Swamp, Atherton FNQ We were just looking at the Swamp to see what was around – very little it turns out because there is water, water everywhere up North at present. Anyway a couple of birds flushed so I tried to photograph to see what they were. It turns out that it was a couple of male Cotton Pygmy Geese, one of two pygmy geese species in Australia and not all that common.
